We put all our knowledge and expertise within the event industry as well as a portfolio of reliable contacts in all areas at your disposal; from professionally presenting your guests with mouth watering food to astonishing décor and beyond.

Rafika Bouguermat
Rafika BouguermatCo-Director & Event Manager
Buzz Events’ founder and French Chef and Event Manager, Rafika Bouguermat, has worked at the top end of the Catering & Events industry since 1994 throughout the world.

I have predominately worked for prestigious outside catering companies, starting in the kitchen and moving to managing events in venues such as the Eiffel Tower to beautiful settings in Sussex.

With a can do attitude and creativity, I help you organise your tailored events, whether your dream wedding or high profile corporate event.

I am a great fan of food history as well as discovering the South of England and all the products it has to offer. I do love a mojito under the parasol.

Andrew Davidson
Andrew DavidsonCo-Director & Head Chef
Having worked in the catering industry since the age of sixteen, I have always had a passion for the hospitality sector and producing great food for people to enjoy, with a career spanning over 25 years working within award winning hotels and restaurants. The past ten years I’ve worked as a group executive head chef for large hotel chain, specialising in most sectors of the catering industry.

My role is to personally supervising the production, preparation of the catering and menu concepts, I am also responsible for the teaching of hospitality management, professional cookery qualifications as well as first aid, food safety and health and safety courses.

In my free time I enjoy spending valuable time with my family, riding motorbikes and visiting local food business and markets to research the best ingredients that the South of England has to offer.

We are a fully insured catering and event management company.

We have up to date Level 3 Certificates in Food Safety and have been awarded 5 from the FSA’s Food Hygiene Rating Scheme:
– Food hygiene and safety: Food handling practices, cooking, chilling, preventing from cross contamination and temperature control.
– Structure and cleaning: Cleanliness, layout of the kitchen, condition of the structure, lighting, ventilation, facilities etc…
– Confidence in management: The track record of the business, attitude at present management towards hygiene and safety, hygiene and food safety technical knowledge available and satisfactory documented procedures (HACCP)
