Passed Canapes, the amount varies depending on the length of your drinks reception but 3-4 maybe just enough to curb the peckish ones without filing your guests before they sit down for the wedding breakfast.
The Grazing Buffet, a long trail of delicious antipastis, cured and smoked meat, bocconcini, roasted Mediterranean vegetables, crackers, dried and fresh fruits or tapas style with garlic prawns, flambee sausages, patatas bravas, manchego, marinated squid, Spanish omelettes or even mezzes… Combimations are endless to please all your guests.
The Canapes Station, such as a whole Iberico ham and our Sussex Glazed Smoked Gammon being sliced by one of our Chefs in front of your guests, with many toppings, breads, sauces, honeys for a multitude of choices to experience.
*It’s called Wedding Breakfast in the UK, because it is the first meal after the wedding ceremony
3 course sit down meal, a classic and still very used wedding food, can be completed by a soup appetizer, a sorbet or a fish course. A plated trio of mini desserts will please all your guests and is a great alternative to an individual dessert.
Family style sharing platters, a fabulous display of food from antipasti and cured meats starters to traditional roasts carved at the tables or by the Chefs, or a great fusion twist such as Teriyaki salmon, coconut rice and stir fry “We loved the fusion twist on the menu we chose and the food was not only incredibly tasty but there was plenty of it! Sophie & Craig ” . Finishing your meal with large pavlovas full of Summer berries and mint, stacks of gooey chocolate brownies or large British trifle.
Bowl Food, mini cold, hot, meat, fish and vegetarian dishes served sited or standing up for a more informal affair. We’ve done it a few times now and it works wonders as we included some British classics dishes such as fish and chips, roast beef with all the trimmings, or Mediterranean options such as creamy pesto with olives and sun-blushed tomatoes tortellini, grilled vegetables with hummus and falafels, “It was delicious, beautifully presented…! Val & Gerardo”. Desserts included slices of the wedding cake, chocolate mousses, Eton mess.
Wedding BBQ is such another great wedding food option. Deliciously marinated and juicy meats, fish and vegans food dishes are grilled on a maple wood scented charcoal BBQ. Fresh salads such as spicy roasted sweet potatoes, tangy avocados and peppery rocket, ginger, sesame and chilli oriental slaw with fresh coriander and bean shoots. Puddings can include minty fresh fruit salad, bourbon soaked pineapple barbecue skewers with lime creme fraiche or our delectable cream cheese and berry almond cake.
The trendy food trucks or shacks are offering deliciously crafted street food menus from classic juicy burgers to double cooked marinated in our signature spice blend, lean pork belly served grilled in flat breads with a fresh sweet onion, vine tomatoes and parsley salad, dripping with garlic or spicy harrissa sauce. Accompanied by finger licking crispy and fluffy sumac wedges.
Hog Roast or pulled pork are the classic and much loved evening snack food options, either in a traditional spice blend or a spicy cajun alternative. They are served in buttered freshly baked artisan breads with a crispy slaw or sage scented sweet and tangy apple sauce.
